Click on “Show Features” to show Activity Report, History Tracking,
Find Location, POI,
Geo fence, Route menu as shown in figure below. To hide this menu,
click on “Hide Features”.

a)
Activity Report : |
To
see the current position of vehicle on the map and get its status,
click on “Activity Report”.
It will show the list of vehicles with vehicle id, date and time
as shown above. Also it will show
the status of vehicles with the icons shown as in the figure below. |

If
the GPS data is valid, icon written as “GPS” will be in the green
color otherwise will be shown
in red color.If any SOS message has come from vehicle, then the
SOS written on icon will be in
red color or else in greencolor. The red colored text “Speed” on
icon means the vehicle is over
speeding. If the vehicle drives out of the assigned geofence area,
the “Area” icon will be shown in
red color. Similarly, if the vehicle crosses its predefined route,
the “Route” written on the icon will
be of red color. If the positions of vehicles are not updated, then this icon will
be displayed.
Clicking on the blue arrow of required vehicle, a quick window as
shown below will come up. |

Click
on “Go To Position” to see the current position of vehicle on the
map. Click on
“Poll Vehicle” to send a request to vehicle for its latest position.
Click on “Erase History”
to send a request for erasing history of that vehicle (in hardware
memory). |
b) History Tracking : |

To
get a history of particular vehicle in a specified period, select
“History Tracking”.
Then select the vehicle id from drop down list and select the dates’
range (max. 2 days)
in which you want to see the history. Then click on “Get Data” button
to see the history
table which gives the details of date, time and road name for vehicle
as well as you can
see the positions of vehicle on the map as shown above.
Click on “Show History” / “Hide History” to show or hide positions
of vehicles on map. |
a) Find Location : |

You
can find the location of any place on the map by typing the address
or entering latitude
and longitude for the place. |
a)
POI: |
|
To
get the data related to POI (points of importance), click on POI
tab. You will get the details
of POI like name, its type and address in a table. To see the position
of each POI on the map,
click on the arrow besides the POI name. Map will be rendered to
the position of selected POI
as shown in the figure above. To delete any POI record, click on
related symbol. |

c) Geofence : |
We
can assign some area boundary called “Geo fence” to the vehicle
so that when the vehicle
enters in that boundary,an alert called “Geo fence Area Violation”,
will be generated. To get the
list of all geofenced area, click on “Geofence”. A geofence area
description table will be displayed
as shown in above figure. To view the area on map, click on the
arrow beside the name of area.
Map will be rendered to show that area boundary on map. To link
your vehicle to any geofenced area,
click on the blue arrow in that particular geofence area’s row.
The screen as shown below will appear. |

Select
the vehicle which you want to link with geofence area whose id is
displayed there and
click “Done” button. To delete any geofence area, click on symbol shown in the row of that
geofence name. |
d)
Route : |
Routes
are added on the map to define the path. When the vehicle assigned
to a particular route
crosses its route, an alert is generated. |
 |
Click
on “Route” to see the list of available routes and to add vehicle
to the route or delete
the route. Following screen shows the list of routes. To see the
route on map, select the
route name from list and click on its arrow. To delete any of the
routes, click on symbol
against its name.To add a vehicle to any route, click on its blue
color arrow and select the
vehicle to be added (as shown below) and click “Done” button. |

a)
Distance : |
To
calculate the distance between 2 or more points on the map, click
on this symbol and
go on selecting 1st ,2nd , 3rd & so on points. Distance between
these points will be shown
above
the map. To end the distance calculation, again click on distance
symbol.

b)
Area : |
To
calculate the area between 2 points on map, click on this symbol.
Then click on the 1st point from where the area polygon has to be
drawn (i.e. upper left corner
of polygon), then click the 2nd point to end the area square (i.e.
lower right corner of polygon)
as shown in the figure below. The area enclosed by this polygon
will be displayed at the top of
the map. To end area calculation, click again on the area icon on
toolbar. |

c) Geofence : |
To
mark the new geofence area on map, click on this symbol. Then select
three or
more points in which you want to enclose the geofence area. |
|
To
end the geofence marking operation click on the geofence symbol
again. Once you end
the geofence marking operation, a panel on right hand side will
appear as shown above.
There write the geofence area name (required field) and description
and click on “Save”
button to save it or “Cancel” button to cancel the geofence operation.
Once you click “Save”
button,you will see this area is added to the geofence area list
and if you click on the
corresponding arrow on geofence area name,the area will be shown
on the map as shown below. |

d)
POI: |
To
add the Point of Importance on the map, click this icon. You will
be prompted to
right click on the map where you want to add new POI. Right click
on the point and you
will get the panel on the right hand side of map as shown below. |

Enter
the POI name, address, POI type, contact number (required fields)
and website if any
in respective fields and click on “Save” button to save POI. You
will be redirected to POI
list table in which the new POI is added. Click on the corresponding
arrow at the name,
the map is rendered to show POI on map. |
e)
Route : |
To
mark a new route on map, click on this route icon and select 2 or
more points on map.
Once you finish marking the route points, click on route icon again
to stop the operation.
Then enter the route name (required field) and description in the
fields on right hand side.
Click on “Save” button to save the route or “Cancel” button to cancel
the route. |

On saving
the route, it will get added to the list of all routes and similar
to geofence,
if you click on the route name’s arrow, the route will be shown
on map.

f) Full View : |
This
icon is used to view the full map as shown below. |

To
track the different vehicles on map all at a time, click on Multi
Tracking icon.
This will show the screen as below. |

Select
the vehicle id which you want to track on map from the drop down
list and check its
check box. Map will be rendered to show the position of vehicle
in corresponding panel.
This way you can track eight vehicles at a time. To go back to main
page, click on “Home”
option on menu. |
h) Print Map : |
Click
on this icon to print the page. |
